Hello everyone!
I just recently restored a NES due to the cartridge slot not working, setup the Everdrive and everything seemed fine.. played a few games, today I started
the original Legend of Zelda and started to notice discoloration on my CRT in two spots middle left(green spot) and bottom right (blue/purple spot)
First thing I thought was oh god the CRT is dying.. so I looked into a bunch of fixes including degaussing and such. I left it alone and came back today, turned on my ps1 and started a 2D game to see if it would return... nothing, tried my genesis... nothing.
So I start up the NES, play some punch out and duck hunt.. everything is fine. Start up Zelda and it gradually starts to show the spots again
My question is there known issues with the original zelda that causes these weird issues? Or somehow zelda is showing me the future of my TV?
I tried different versions of zelda and its the same, next stop is trying it on my Wii to see if it returns on there.
Thanks Everyone
