Super famicom motherboard and power input jack swap

Hello all,

I recently decided to buy a working Super Famicom motherboard in order to use it inside my NA (North America) Super Nintendo shell. However, I still want to keep the overall feeling as close as to NA as possible, in the sense that not only I want to keep my NA shell, but also use my original NA power supply unit.

From what I researched online, it seems that the SFC motherboard and the NA motherboard are virtually the same, so a SFC board should fit perfectly inside a NA shell. In order to still use my NA power supply unit, I figured that I should also swap the power input jack on the back of the SFC board with the corresponding NA power input jack.

However, the only thing I am concerned about is possibly some difference of how voltage is being delivered to the SFC motherboard. I am not sure if the SFC board has a voltage regulator capable of filtering safely the 110v that is being delivered inside US power outlets.

So, here I am asking to be sure if it is 100% safe to use the NA power supply unit plugged into a NA power input jack which is connected at the back of a SFC motherboard.

Any help or guess would be greatly appreciated. Happy new year!
