JMC Family Super Writer

I recently got this cartridge writer/copier, the JMC Family Super Writer. I can't find any information about it, using either the japanese name provided by the listing I purchased it from or the english name. It even came with one of the rewritable cartridges alongside it. I will post pictures of it here though, since it may be an interesting reverse engineering project.

Power input seems to be the standard 10V DC as the Famicom itself. Erase function turns on the UV light to erase the EPROMs and the write mode waits for a button to be hit. Unfortunately, I don't know if the actual device works, since I wasn't able to successfully write anything to the spare cart... yet. Trying to write Ikki to the second cartridge doesn't seem to do much, in the 15-or so minutes I waited. And I spent another 5 minutes beforehand waiting for the EPROMs to erase. All it did was make the rewritable cart really really warm (likely from the high programming voltage?).

Opening the device reveals it is powered by some sort of 6809. I think the bodge wires on the PCB is hilariously excessive, but was probably cheaper than designing and manufacturing a new PCB.

There's a second "sub" PCB hiding in the main unit, but I will have to include those in a second post due to attachment restrictions. The cart itself has some interesting hardware behind it. I think it's a CNROM clone.
