Can someone tell me how the game above is showing a semi-transparent blue map at the same time as the varying-sized white "glow" around the player that illuminates parts of the surrounding area and masks off enemies outside its range plus the semi-transparent grey text boxes too?
I'm especially interested in the moments where the white "glow" effect overlaps the semi-transparent blue map and semi-transparent grey text box, as I always thought it wasn't possible to have two effects like this overlapping on SNES due to how I've understood colour math works.
