How about creating a custom fileselector (developed in a clever way so many can make use of it) for your emulator that is optimized for .NES-files? I mean, instead of just browsing filenames etc just like a normal fileselector, you add support for covert-art (and more?) for your files, to improve(?) the retro-feeling?
