Hey,
After buying my first snes, which unfortunately has a broken S-CPU (crashes when using HDMA), and witnessing the S-CPU price,
I decided to make a FPGA-based replacement.
it's based on a ICE40HX8K (choosen mostly for its price), and is comprised of a mainboard and 2 flex PCB interfaces (named S-LCL) that solder directly in place of the S-CPU socket.
More information on my blog: https://llrblog.vercel.app/projects/snes-cpu
P.S: the project is based on the snestang S-CPU IP for now
