Intelligent Systems FDT ICE

Carnivol was kind enough to share some images of an Intelligent Systems Famicom+FDS development unit, labeled "FDT ICE (ISD)". This particular unit appears to be from 1991. I don't think anyone has a good idea of how this thing works or what it's actually capable of. It also came with an FDS disk drive with a development sticker on it; it's not known if this differs from a retail drive in any way.

There are two boards on the inside; one appears to have the Famicom components and the other the FDS components. The ROMs, PALs, and BIOS have not yet been dumped. The ports and cables on the front, from left to right, are the FDS disk dive cable, NES controller (connected to the FDS side for some reason), FDS expansion port, Famicom expansion port, Famicom controller 1, and Famicom controller 2.

If any additional pictures are needed, please ask. It looks to me like the traces are hard to see toward the lower left of the FDS solder side, so maybe we can get another shot of that at the same time as anything else.
